We have been asked time and time again if anyone offers gun safety classes for kids. In response we have designed a class that we feel meets the needs of parents and children that share a desire to educate themselves regarding the safe use of firearms and address many of the common fears relating to firearm ownership and use.

This class is taught by Brit Jacobs from Accuracy First. Brit is a father of six children and has coached soccer, including high school level for 13 years. He has been an NRA instructor, Chief Range Safety Officer, and the Rangemaster at Camp Tadmor for 12 years. He is also the general manager of a family entertainment center in Sherwood , Oregon and has been a State of Oregon Certified Childcare director for ten years. In addition has taught firearms classes at BeaverCreek Armory for the last four years.

Class Length: 3 hrs.  10:00-1:00 pm
Student Price- $80.00 + ammunition + gun rental (if needed)
Payable in advance of class.
Ages:  10 yrs to 17 yrs.
Maximum number of students: 12

Child needs to be accompanied by parent or guardian. Both parents may attend the classroom instruction course- Only one parent may accompany child/student on the range.

Gun rental, 50 rounds of .22 caliber rifle ammo, eye and ear protection included in the $80
